Tony’s enthusiasm for the retail world has taken him around the globe searching for innovative store concepts and outstanding examples of visual merchandising. During 18 years at Selfridges London, he was instrumental in benchmarking and setting visual standards in department store retailing, first as a Visual Merchandising Manager and finally as Creative Direction Manager a role that included sourcing products, retail concepts and promotional events globally, including Bollywood, Tokyo Life and Brasil 23 degrees. He has a strong dedication to raising the profile and commerciality of visual merchandising. The author of two books: Visual Merchandising-Window and In-Store Display for Retail (now in its second edition) and, Window Display-New Visual Merchandising (both books have been translated in over 10 languages including, Russian, Spanish, Italian and Mandarin Chinese). |
