Giorgio Borruso Design (GBD) is an award-winning multi-disciplinary design firm creating innovative works ranging from architecture to interiors and industrial design. Founded by internationally renowned Italian architect, Giorgio Borruso, in Los Angeles in 2000, GBD has been developing projects, collections and unique brand statements for such clients as Caruso Affiliated, the Segerstrom Family, Fila, Snaidero, Fornarina, Miss Sixty, Paul Frank and La Murrina. The work of GBD has been seen throughout the world in over a thousand publications, receiving over eighty international awards in architectural design and brand development.Several projects have also become part of the permanent collections of the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and the Red Dot Museum in Germany

Company founder and principal, Giorgio Borruso, relocated to Los Angeles in 1998 after living and working in Italy, Spain and Germany. He has taught and conducted research at Universities in Italy and in the U.S. (University of California, Los Angeles), and is currently a frequent guest lecturer at universities and conferences globally. In 2006, Borruso was given the honor of Retail Design Luminary for his visionary contribution to the field of design and in 2005 was named Designer of the Year by DDI. He is currently on the advisory boards of DDI magazine and NASFM, and has sat on the jury for design and advertising awards such as Architectural Record and Contract magazine Interiors.
